Getting to Moalboal Panagasama Beach
Moalboal & Panagsama Beach is approx 90 km south from Cebu City, Travel time is approx. 2 – 2.5 hour. By bus, taxi or van. (v-hire = van).
From Mactan International Airport:
Let us pick you up at the airport. By car or van. Send us a mail regarding this.
Get a taxi, when you exit the airport at a fixed price. Ask to go to Moalboal, Panagsama Beach – Mayas Native Garden.
From Cebu City by taxi:
Hire any taxi and ask the driver to take you to Moalboal, Panagsama Beach – Mayas Native Garden. Next to Planet Action & Pacitas Disco.
From Cebu City by bus:
Go to South Bus Terminal, get an aircon or regular bus going to Moalboal, they departure every half hour. From Moalboal get a tricycle to Panagsama Beach, approx 3 km. Tell the driver Mayas Native Garden. Next to Planet Action & Pacitas Disco.
Money
Philippine Peso (PHP; symbol Php) = 100 centavos. Notes are in denominations of Php1,000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 20, 10. ATM are available throughout the country, HOWEVER MOALBOAL HAS NO ATM. Therefore it is advised to bring cash. Some places accept creditcards and travelers checks.
Visa
If you are coming from America, Asia or Europe with a valid passport, and either a return ticket or a ticket to another destination outside the Philippines you may enter without a formal visa and stay for 21 days. If you wish to stay longer you must obtain a Visa Extension either before your trip from a Philippine Consulate or Embassy. Or, once here, you may obtain it from the Bureau of Immigration.

Cebu and Moalboal is malaria free. In terms of health safety, travelers should make sure that all of their standard immunizations are up to date and they should avoid drinking any water besides bottled water during their stay in Cebu. Cebu City have very good hospitals and dentists.
